Grotto was an all-encompassing installation that consisted as a large main cavern with nooks of stalactites and crystals, and a narrow passageway that led to an exit. Viewers entered the installation immediately upon exiting the gallery elevator onto the second floor and were immediately immersed in the completely enclosed environment that was solely lit by glowing twinkling crystals. It was like standing inside a giant inverted disco ball.
